1 Friday!!

It's Friday! Yay, can't wait for the weekend to start! We've got the summer movie today and I've got laundry and cleaning, sounds like fun, yeah?

There are some great new products that are gonna hit the stores on Monday and here's a sneek peek of some from Two Sisters Designs and Traci Murphy.

3 I Hate Rain

Okay, so you know how I said I loved a rainy day. I must have been crazy! I had to run a few errands yesterday morning. I didn't really want to go out in the rain, but on the other hand, I needed to get out of the house and needed to get this stuff done. Well the rainy day must have been making the kids cranky! It was horrible. I have never had a shopping trip that bad before! I had to run to the mall, so I put the kids in the stroller and Jeremy screamed the whole time! I picked him up, then Bryleigh started screaming because she wanted me to put Jeremy back in the stroller! AAAHH! Needless to say, I did not get everything done I needed to and when Ray's home tonight, I'm going to go out ALL BY MYSELF so that I can get done what I need to! :)

I cranked out quite a few layouts last night and this one is my favorite!

7 Rainy Wednesday

It's been threatening rain here for two days now and finally it let loose last night! Yay! Somedays, I just really love a rainy day. Plus our grass needs the extra water, so I'm loving the rain right now...but I could do without the wind! :)

Ray is feeling much better now that he's taking the cough medicine, but he's got so much to do at work and meetings in the evenings that I hope it doesn't stick around longer because of that! I love you honey!

Jeremy seems to be doing better this morning too and that makes me happy. He hasn't been coughing as much! But...I did have to get up with him 4, count 'em 4, times last night. I don't know what his deal was. But it sure makes ME tired!! Probably another growth spurt and getting his appetite back!

5 The Verdict is in...

and it's bronchitis! Can you believe it! I can't! We just got Jeremy over pnemonia, and now he's got bronchitis?!!! What is a mother to do? The worst part about it, is the doctor said it's a viral infection so there's nothing they can really do about it, except give him an over the counter cough medicine! So I have to endure hearing my sweet baby boy cough like a seal. Luckily, they were able to perscribe Ray with a heavy cough medicine so he slept like a baby last night with no coughing. Which means I didn't have to sleep on the couch! :) I just hope they both get feeling better soon. We've got a family reunion next week and I want them healthy for it!

We did take a moment to do a little bit of shopping yesterday. It was great! I got some new clothes and I got Ray some new polos for Father's Day. We both really needed some new summer clothes! We also got a portable DVD player system for our car so that Bryleigh can watch a movie when we drive down to our reunion. We'll be making a couple of long trips this summer, so we knew we'd need some sanity! I swore I would never have a DVD player in my car...oh well! We also picked up a new, bigger car seat for Bryleigh and handed down hers to Jeremy. J man is now 19 pounds at 6 months and my back is telling me that I can't lug him around in that little baby carseat anymore! So he's a big boy now a big boy (REAR FACING) carseat! Yay for him! :)

I had the most wonderful morning, waking up to my Digital Artist Magazine this month! Oh so beautiful! There is some amazing work in this month's issue! Go get it if you haven't already! So much inspiration! I was lucky enough to have two of my layouts published in this month's issue and I'm so excited! So really, you need to go buy it HERE!

The show for Disc Talk Radio has been postponed until next week. They lost most of their show while uploading...how horrible! So listen for them talking about my layout next week! :)

4 Good morning!

Well, it's a pretty good morning! Jeremy slept better last night, only waking up once instead of twice. So that's a plus. But both he and Ray have horrible coughs and it's really starting to worry me. So today will be spent taking them both to the doctors and spending even more money in doctor's visits! Arg! But really, I just want them to get feeling better. It's no fun having sick people to take care of!

Today I've got some exciting news! My layout Swing is going to be featured on DiscTalkRadio this week, starting tomorrow. So make sure you go and check it out and listen to what they've got to say!

And, I found out that another one of my layouts is going to be published in the DAM magazine! I won the little contest they had going over at Sweet Shoppe Designs! I'm so excited! So that makes 2 layouts for me published in DAM, THIS MONTH! Can't wait to see it when it comes out!

And, I've got two layouts today. Of course, my Hodge Podge layout! It was about being girly. And since I don't really look at myself as being too girly, I decided to do a layout about that! :)


And second is a layout I did with the new FPD collab. kit this month! You get it FREE with any purchase, yes I said FREE!!! So go and get it!

7 Another long post!

Cause I've got lots to show you!

First off, I wanted to THANK EVERYONE of YOU that voted for me in the QOTC contest. I didn't make it into the final 10, but I know that many of you still voted for me and I'm extremely grateful! It's great to know that I've got friends and people behind me and that means so much more to me than a title! So thank you SO VERY MUCH!!

And then there is so much going on in the scrapbooking world! I've gotten tonz of new product from my designers and I thought I'd highlight it all. So here it goes in no particular order:

Lauren Reid has a great new kit coming out, but I can't show you that because it's top secret! :) I'll post again when it debuts! My favorite from her right now is her Waxy-Do's. They just are so versatile and I use them all the time!

Angela and Emily Powers have kept me BUSY this last couple of weeks, they have some exciting new products...one that's debuting tomorrow and it's AMAZING and so unique. Keep an eye out for it! I use the Lable It! alpha's on almost every layout!

Speaking of keeping me busy...Christina Renee has become a Designing Queen! She has had so many amazing product and her Grungy Grid papers are my favorite right now!
WOW! Amy Martin has been creating some stunning unique products recently! I'm so amazed at her creativity and I love her new Flower Frames!

And on Songbird Ave. you can pick up this amazing kit featuring Dianne Rigdon! This month all of the proceeds with go to the American Diabetes Association, which is near and dear to my heart!
And last, but certainly not least is my sweet friend Nancy. Her Photo Clusters are fabulous and this one is my favorite right now!
