5 TGIF!

I'm so, so ready for the weekend! Bring it on! :) Take a look at what I woke up to this morning:


If you look close enough you can tell that his eye closest to the camera just doesn't look right. Yep, I'm almost positive he has pink eye. Where the heck did he pick this up?? It's all red, and teary. So...I'm just waiting till our doctor's office opens, then I'll take him in. I was planning a nice stay at home day today...oh well! :) Look at this beautiful view I have from my backyard! Okay, I admit it, sometimes the snow really is pretty.

15 I can't believe I'm doing this...

but I have to.


I hate taking photos of myself. Especially full body shots. But...I am totally and completely committed to losing this weight this year. As I look back on the last 3 years, it's hard to believe that I let myself get so overweight. I gained 50 lbs. with Bryleigh's pregnancy and only lost about 20 of that before I had Jeremy. And I gained another 50 lbs. with him. Luckily I have lost all of that plus 10lbs. So I'm on my way. And this will be my year. This is the year I will get to my goal weight. I have a long way to go. But I'm going to do it. I'm amazed at the fact that I've already been attending my exercise class for two weeks and I actually love to go. Even though my muscle hurt like crazy and I'm super exhausted...I am there every morning. And I'm happy to go. I love it. I believe I'm starting to enjoy exercising...I can't believe I just said that. But I'm glad. And I'm proud of myself. So that's why today I'm sharing my story with you. This weight is coming off! So this is a before photo of me. I hope that some of you will take this journey with me, share your story too. It's actually quite liberating!! :)

PS...see those grungy overlays on yesterdays photo and todays?? They are a new product by me coming to WST on the 14th of Feb!! :)

5 It's Layout showing day!!

How's everyone?? I'm totally beat. Today was tough in the gym! We did circuits of different activities and boy did it whoop me! :) It was fun though!

Bryleigh had a playdate today with her best friend London. These two girls are so cute together. In fact a few weeks ago when I went to pick up Bryleigh from school, London was telling her bye bye. Bryleigh ran over to her and gave her a great big hug. They were kissing each others cheeks and just being so cute. Their teacher said, "Those two. They are definitely BFF. They are inseperable." Too cute! I love that Bryleigh has such a great friend. I'm I grateful that London's mommy and I are great friends too! :)

4 Lots going on today!

And my week 5 layout!! Can't believe it's week 5 already!! I'm proud to say I haven't missed a day!! I'm loving this project! :)


In scrapping news...I'm getting so excited about my new store at {we are} storytellers. It really is going to be great!! In the meantime, I have been asked to be the guest designer at The Funky Playground this month! I am thrilled to be working with these girls! 3 Happy Super Bowl Sunday!

Did you all have a good weekend? I sure did, it was a nice relaxing weekend! Saturday morning we spent cleaning the house. Boy did that feel good to get everything organized and cleaned! I don't do that as often as I should. I even went through all my scrapping stuff and got rid of all the odds and ends that I didn't use anymore. Now everything has a place! :)

After that we watched Pres. Hinckley's funeral. I hadn't let his passing get to me, but it sure did during his funeral. He was the prophet since 1995, which made me 15. So I grew up with him as my leader. And what a wonderful leader he was. Listening to the recap of his life and years in the service of Heavenly Father, it reminded me of how much I am grateful for temples. So while we were out on Saturday night, we drove past our temple...it's getting so close to being done!! And we are so excited!

This photo was taken with my Valentine's present from Ray. Thank you honey!! I love it. I wanted a small little *good* camera that I could carry around in my purse. And this was perfect. And it's red!! :)

So today we woke up and we got a call that church was canceled! Crazy!! Never in my life has church been canceled. I looked outside and it was pretty yucky. We've gotten a lot of snow in the past 4 days and the roads were horrible! So we enjoyed a nice morning home with each other. These are my three favorite people in the world. And yes, Bryleigh is wearing her Snow White dress. In fact as I type, she's asking me to put in on again. Oh princesses!


Right before we put Bryleigh down for a nap, I decided to cut her hair. Oh boy. I don't know what possessed me to do that. But it's looks really cute on her. I haven't gotten a good photo of her cut yet, but as soon as I'll do I'll show it to you! :)
