5 A Project a Day

I decided that I really want to help Bryleigh develop her creativity. She's been coloring in her favorite coloring book like crazy. We used to do projects, but haven't in awhile, so I'm refocusing my efforts on this. She is so creative and is already showing that she loves to do stuff with her hands, so I'm going to help her. So while Jeremy naps in the mornings, Bryleigh and I are going to work on a project a day. Today's project was Magic Goo. I thought she would love it! She put her hands in it and was like, yuck. She actually said to me, "Mommy, it's getting on my nail polish." I couldn't believe it!! She's such a girly girl and doesn't want to be messy. I think it's pretty funny. After playing in it a bit with her, she finally warmed up to it a little. I had never done this before, so if you haven't ever made Magic Goo...go do it!


Here's a layout I did about Jeremy's easter tie! It was for the Digi Dare this week and it features Amy's awesome new kit Melon Madness!!


I did this layout after we did some spring cleaning last week. Bryleigh only helped out for a bit, so I had to catch her posing! :)

13 Today is an exciting day for us!!

We are going to be home owners!! This is our home so we're super excited! Yesterday afternoon, we got the call back that our offer was accepted!! :) So we've been moving forward with plans to start our new home! It will be built from the ground up so we get to pick all of our colors and everything. That's what we did this morning. We met at the cabinet/kitchen place and picked out what kind of cupboards and countertops we wanted. Then we went over to the flooring place, picked out our carpet, vinyl (for bathrooms and laundry) and laminate for our livingroom/kitchen area. We are SO excited!! And thanks Jen for watching Bryleigh...it was so nice to be able to concentrate on those important decisions! :) You rock, my friend! (PS:: the post yesterday with the photo of the dirt, that was from our lot right after we made the offer!)

Have you seen Enchanted yet?

The easter bunny brought it for Bryleigh. I didn't know if she would really like it because she's only drawn to cartoons. I was afraid that when they turned into real people, she wouldn't want to watch it anymore. Well Sunday night we all sat down to watch it together and she LOVES IT!! It's now Thursday and we've watched it one time each day. She just can't get enough. And now, I can't get, "How do she know that you love her" out of my head! :) If you haven't seen it, it's definitely worth seeing! :)

3 It's Wed. already??

WOW! We've already had one busy week, so it's made it go by fast! Just wanted to show you some photos, then I'm off to take a nap. Jeremy has a cough and was up a lot last night, so I'm tired!!

9 Just wanted to pop in...

and say hello! :) I didn't blog yesterday because it was crazy! But good, we stayed busy. As a family we have some exciting news to share, and it will be a couple of days before we do...but we are so excited! No...I'm not having a baby. :)

Sunday was a wonderful day of reflecting on what my Savior has done for me. It was a beautiful day and so good to spend it with family. We enjoyed church and Jeremy even went to nursery! He's about a month away from being old enough, but we decided to try it out and he stayed in there the whole time! They said he cried if he wasn't being held, but that's much better than them coming to get me after 5 min. (that would be Bryleigh). So we're looking forward to when he can join Bryleigh in there full time next month! I finally got a good photo of him in his cute tie that I made. I'm so proud of that tie! :)
