Alrighty, just as much as I love digital scrapbooking, I love crafting!! So I'm going to start featuring some of my craft projects here on this blog...so it won't only be a digital scrapbooking blog. It will feature all of my creative projects! So here's our Christmas tree this year...
Last year I was barely pregnant with Miles and didn't feel good at all. I had so many handmade ideas I wanted to do for decorations and never got around to doing them. This year I made up for it! I decided I wanted my entire tree decorations to be handmade. So a few weeks back I began making ornaments. Perler beaded snowflakes and candy canes, felt ornaments, fabric balls, polaroid photo ornaments and a felt garland. Take a look:

These were so easy and fun to make! I printed out photos on my printer, sewed them onto a blank note card and cut off the very bottom until it looked like a polaroid. I love them and the kids loved putting their photos on the tree!

These are my favorite. I think I made close to 20 different ornaments...all different shapes and colors!

I learned how to make these at our ward Relief Society super Saturday. I came home and made some with bright colored fabric. They are made with styrofoam balls and pieces of fabric. I plan to go get some more balls and make some more!

You can see one of my perler bead snowflakes here. Bryleigh and I had a lot of fun making these! And the garland was really fun and really simple! Just cut out a bunch of felt circles and sewed them all together!

Here's my star and another snowflake. :)
