2 project life | week 7 - 2013

Sorry I'm a bit behind in posting this week. I don't have an excuse either!! :) I have had my pages done since Tuesday but never got around to photographing them until this afternoon. Speaking of photographing my PL pages...I wanted to have a cleaner, crisper look so I went and purchased a plain 'ole white poster board and I'm going to start photographing my pages on it. I love that it gives me that clean, simple look that I've been going for. Hopefully it will allow my pictures and pops of color to shine! :) So...here's my week 7!!

Left side:

This week was my husband's birthday and it was also time to do another "currents" card. So I had a grand idea...why don't I do a daddy edition!! :) It was fun to see his answers to the questions, I'll definitely be including more daddy editions through the year! 

My husband also was out of town all week and he took a super cool photo from the plane that I loved so I wanted to include it here in the album. The buildings are stamped on (from the February Studio Calico kit).

I've been wanting to grow Miles' hair out a little forever and I decided we were going to go for it. So I gave him a trim to even it out. He even sat so good for me while I took his picture. :)

This photo of Jeremy is my absolute favorite from this week. Every Tuesday at school they can bring a quarter to buy a tootsie pop. Jeremy calls it "Twootsie Pop Tuesday". When he came home from school eating his sucker I knew I needed to capture this moment.

Gave the boys an impromptu mid-day bubble bath and they loved it. Secretly....I just wanted some cool bubble bath pics. :)

Both boys and accumulated a lot of these little dinos and I've been finding them all over my house in the strangest places. I figured I needed to remember this memory, 'cause one day they'll be all gone and I'll wish I had dinos to pick up. :)

And here's the right side, dedicated mostly to Valentine's Day and Ray's birthday...

The kids looked so cute all dressed up for Valentine's day. The circle card is from my shoppe, recolored just a bit.

Since daddy was still gone on Valentine's Day, I took a cue from the fabulous Liz Tamanaha and sent daddy a little photobooth fun. I just adore how it turned out...I hope it made his day! :) 

Second card is a sweet photo of the boys playing the piano together...another card I put together with washi and wood veneer. 

Hubby came home from his business trip on his birthday and I surprised him by going out to dinner at a new-to-us restaurant here. It's overlooking the Snake River canyon and just beautiful! I made sure we took some pictures of us there. :) Anyone know what movie "you're my zing" is from?

Jeremy was on AFV on Sunday night...such a fun experience for our whole family! Tried something new with framing the card with washi tape.
